This takes the best of what Lake Atitlan has to offer and blends it into a fun day of activities. Great for kids, families and those who want to enjoy! You spend the day with a bilingual guide and have activities with USA safety standards. Kayak for an hour or so, then hike through the local forest to a rock wall. Safe rock climbing (harnesses, ropes, etc.) up to 30-45 feet, then rappel down. When ready, return for lunch and free time to swim, kayak more, hang out – archery, hammocks…. You decide on your activities and ENJOY!
Full day trip takes you to Guatemala’s most famous market. This market is a traditional Quiche market, and includes a walk to the cemetery and Paschal Abaj, the Shaman Hill. You are likely to witness s a sacred Fire Cleansing Ceremony conducted by a Mayan shaman. Be sure to book on Thursday or Sunday for market day.
Our Adventure Center is the only climbing school in Guatemala where you can learn the basic principals of top rope climbing and try your skills on one of our easier walls. We offer a unique opportunity for over-the water climbing for those with more experience. Come for a day or a week. We have our very own Rock Climbing camp with routes for any ability. Climb with us at the base camp in Santa Cruz la Laguna, or on one of the many climbing sites around the lake. Lake Atitlán is one of the few of locations in the world with over-the-water climbing.
