You will be met at your hotel by our boat driver and enjoy the ride to the village of San Pedro. Our tour starts with a short ride to the visitor center, where the actual climb starts.

With 3 -4 hours of climbing through fields and cloud forest we reach the top of the volcano at almost 3000 meters. Enjoy magnificent views over the lake and its mountains and volcanoes while having your well-deserved lunch. After lunch we descend back to the visitor center.

All courses are run by a certified PADI instructor and all fun dives are guided by a divemaster or instructor. Whether you're an experienced diver or beginner, this high altitude (1560m), fresh water volcanic crater lake provides a unique environment for divers looking for something different.Things to see include massive volcanic rock formations, a fault line where you can plunge your hands into hot volcanic mud, a vertical swim-thru, sunken trees, and an abundance of fish, crabs and plant life. Water temperature is around 20°C / 70°F and visibility varies between 4 - 14m / 12 - 45ft. It's best to dive as early as possible as the lake can get choppy in the afternoon.

We provide the most comfortable and safe boats on the lake for daily tours of the villages on Lake Atitlán. Tours visit any of the villages surrounding the lake, or to the geothermal hot springs, or just swim in the middle of the lake with a picnic lunch. Join one of our scheduled tours or charter a boat for a day.
