Quetzalio Trail Day Hike
El Quetzal trail is a route that takes you through a day hike to watch wildlife on the ancestral cloud forest of the municipal park El Rey Tepepul in Santiago Atitlan.
This hike is an outstanding experience through the majestic flora and fauna of the cloud forest. During this experience, you will have the opportunity to observe el Quetzal (Guatemalan National Bird) that inhabits the cloud forest of the southern slopes of Lake Atitlan, and many other birds and wild animals. Only a few places in Guatemala can offer a unique bird watching experience like the one presented in the municipal park Rey Tepepul Santiago Atitlan.
