Rock Climbing With Professional Guide Guatemala

With climbing sites of varying difficulties, our rock climbing school in Lake Atitlan is a great place for families and adventurers to learn the basic principles of top rope climbing and try an easy wall, or for experienced climbers to challenge themselves with a canyon climb.

At the Lake Atitlan rock climbing center, we have two top-rope climbs (one pitch each) plus a canyon climb (three pitches). All routes involve rock climbing and also tree and dirt climbing. We’ll help to choose the right route for your level and can plan your climbs over multiple days if you want to try all the routes available.

For those who are new to climbing, we offer top rope climbing whereby you are securely attached to a rope that passes through an anchor system at the top of the wall, and down to a belayer at the foot of the wall. Your professional guide will belay and take in slack rope throughout the climb.
